Large-scale Workday Implementation
BackgroundThe University of Southern California (USC) engaged Navigator to take a leadership role on their Workday HCM implementation project. Navigator developed and executed a go-live plan, which resulted in a successful go-live to over 30,000 users.
ApproachNavigator collected its top project and program managers to handle the conversion and integrations aspects of the project, implementation of new time tracking systems, and management of the post-production team. The complexity of the Workday project included over 140 integrations with a project team of over 80 people to be utilized by over 30,000 users.
ResultsUSC, with the leadership of Navigator, successfully implemented Workday HCM. Workday modernizes and improves the way USC delivers key human resources, benefits, payroll, and performance management services to staff and faculty. Replacing most of the university’s legacy administrative systems, Workday leverages cutting edge technologies. Users find it more efficient, intuitive, and easier to use.
